Why This Matters: Over the next dozen lessons, we develop RBDM narratives for: 1. Project risk management; 2. cost risk management; 3. schedule risk management; and 4 quality risk management.
In this example, we start with developing a RBDM project risk management narrative.
First thing to do is to fill out the heat map form. The product objective is broad ‘Project Management Controls.’ There is only one major process risk.
On a separate sheet, develop a narrative of what went into your evaluation of the heat map. For example, the risks are what inhibit, impede, or hinder you from meeting the objective. You can think of the risks as obstacles to achieving the objective.
Project Question: Start designing your own heat map narrative for your project. Develop a context narrative similar to what you find in the following lessons.
