Why This Matters: Each publicly held company has a risk committee at the Board of Directors. The charter of the board of directors is usually available by searching the web. The charter has a description of what the board is looking for in terms of an ERM program or project management.
Project Question: Attached is the General Motors Board Risk Committee charter. Pay special attention to the risk appetite and the scope of what the Board reviews in terms of risk. What is your employer’s risk charter?
